Tradition and Innovation
The State Boarding School SS. Annunziata opens its doors during the Open Days , which provide a unique opportunity to understand and learn about the school’s educational and teaching proposal, its reality, and its training opportunities; It offers a chance to meet teachers and educators, but also to discover the prestigious Villa del Poggio Imperiale, its spaces, and the activities it hosts.
The Villa del Poggio Imperiale, where the State Boarding School is located, is a palace rich in art and history, which students can fully experience thanks to the semi-residential programs (Semiconvitto) and residential programs (Convitto for girls only). All of this takes place in an environment that fosters sharing and personal and human growth of adolescents
Thanks to the Open Days, both parents and future students can personally experience the values of tradition and innovation that have allowed the school to educate the men and women of tomorrow for centuries.
The educational offer of the State Boarding School has been carefully designed to reflect the cosmopolitan heterogeneity of the society in which girls and boys will engage.
The educational offer of the State Boarding School has been carefully designed to reflect the cosmopolitan heterogeneity of the society in which girls and boys will engage. The teaching is structured into four different options: European Classical High School , Language High School, Scientific High School, and, starting from the next school year, Human Science High School (for which we have submitted the request to the competent authorities). Each of these options provides a growth path that combines a teaching proposal made of tradition and innovation with extracurricular activities and projects.
The “Esabac” double Italian-French diploma ofthe Language High School, the DSD (Deutches Sprachdiplom) of the European Classical High School, and all the extracurricular educational offers in the afternoon such as Cambridge IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) certifications and the DELE (Spanish diploma) confer international prestige to the educational paths that represent secure advantages for students in their further studies and job placement.

Language High School and ESABAC program
The educational path of the Language High School allows students to learn and master three foreign languages perfectly, with the support of native language teachers. In addition, the prestigious ESABAC program, which combines French language and culture with Italian, allows students to obtain a diploma in both languages through a single exam.

European Classical Studies
The European Classical Studies program at the State Education Institute SS. Annunziata offers a training course that combines classroom teaching and laboratory hours, as well as opportunities for study abroad and other cultural activities aimed at acquiring a harmonious human and cultural education.
The study program includes the DSD project, officially recognized by the Permanent Conference of Ministers of Education of the Lander in the Federal Republic of Germany.
Its approach provides the skills and competencies necessary to enroll in the best European universities.

Traditional Scientific High School and Scientific High School with Applied Sciences
The educational offer of the Scientific High School is divided into two different paths.
The traditional curriculum offers training that combines scientific skills with humanistic tradition, while the OSA Cambridge program is characterized by a strong technological and laboratory vocation and is enriched by the prestigious IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) certification.

Humanities
Starting from the academic year 2022/2023, the new Human Sciences High School program will be activated (we have submitted the request to the competent authorities for its activation).. It is an educational path aimed at studying society and human and social relationships.
